What this site is
This site is a working demo of the online application engine built by Schwerpunkt FdG Labs. The organisation, the forms and the entries shown are fictional; no real applications are received or processed here. Please do not enter real personal information in the demo — use invented details.
Hosting and server location
The application runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a data centre in Germany, under a data-processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. We do not transfer your data to countries outside the EU. If you visit from outside the EU, your browser connects directly to that server in Germany.
Server log files
When you open the site, the web server automatically records data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page or file requested, amount of data transferred, referring URL, browser type and operating system. This data is used solely to operate the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). Log data is deleted after 14 days unless it is needed to investigate a specific case of misuse.
Session cookie
The application form spans several steps. To keep your entries from one step to the next, the application sets one strictly necessary session cookie (PHPSESSID). It contains only a random identifier; the entries themselves are held in your session on the server in the meantime. The same cookie keeps you signed in to the demo staff portal. The cookie is deleted when you close your browser. Legal basis: Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Because the cookie is strictly necessary for the service, no consent is required, which is why there is no cookie banner.
No tracking, no third-party content
The site uses no analytics or tracking tools and embeds no third-party content. Fonts, scripts and the explainer video are served from our own server. No profiling takes place.
Demo entries and uploaded files
Until you submit, the information you enter exists only in your session. When you submit, the demo application is stored as a record on the server and shown in the demo staff portal; uploaded files are stored there as well. The staff portal is part of the demo and can be opened by any visitor with the demo password published on the site. Submitted demo applications can therefore be seen by other visitors of the demo. Please do not enter real information. Submitted demo applications and uploaded files are deleted automatically after 30 days; on request we delete individual entries immediately (an email to the address above is enough). Legal basis for storage: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in demonstrating the application).
PDF copy
The PDF copy is generated from your session data when you request it and sent to your browser; it is not stored on the server.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you provide in order to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and the right to object (Article 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, use the contact details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
